Here is our ‘This Week at Colleges We Are’ for your information.
Nursery
We are reading the stories “Handa’s Surprise” and “Oliver’s Vegetables” and discussing healthy foods.
We will be making smoothies, fruit salad and bread for the snack table.
Daisy Room
We will be planting and growing sunflowers.
Our focus book for this half term is “We All Go Travelling By”
Arbury Carnival Costume Workshop
The carnival will take place on Saturday 8th June and this year’s theme is Bedtime Stories. We will be having a cake stall and the children will be able to take part in the procession. Kettles Yard will be holding a free costume making workshop with Anu Templar. All Colleges Nursery families are invited to attend on Tuesday 28th May in the Small Hall at Arbury Community Centre from 10am – 12 noon.
Missing Coats
Recently two children’s coats have accidently been taken home. A navy raincoat (which is named) and a pink coat, age 4/5 with fur on the hood. Please can you check at home if you have picked these up by mistake and return them to the Nursery.
Brunswick Spring Fair
Saturday 11 May, 11.00 – 13.00 at Brunswick Nursery School
Guess the name of the teddy, tin can alley, lucky dip treasure hunt, arts and crafts, chocolate tombola, bric-a-brac, refreshments and cake sale. Everyone welcome, a fun event for all the family.
