Dear Parents
A Happy New Year to you all.
Can we reminder parents that at the end of the day the nursery staff’s priority is to be able to hand over children to parents and carers as quickly and as safely as possible. We ask for your support and patience with this.
In particular with the large number of children who are collected from the main nursery room carpet area at 3.45p.m please wait for a staff member to identify you and send your child from the carpet to you. Sometimes your child’ Key worker may like or need to speak with you and if that is the case they will keep your child with them on the carpet until there is an opportunity to speak with you.
At Colleges we really value all opportunities to talk with parents and are keen to share information about the day. If you would like to speak to your child’s key worker we encourage parents to wait for the carpet area to clear a little so we can give you our full attention. Or for more sensitive issues or concerns you may prefer to make an appointment to speak confidentially. Thank you for your cooperation.
Singing
Alternate weeks from 16th January Kathryn Rowland will be back with us to lead music sessions for all children.
Parking
The Community Centre has building works starting this week, can I remind you to use the main car park and not to park in the Community Centre car park.
Sculpture
We will be making an outdoor sculpture and would be grateful if you could bring in clear plastic bottles and fruit punnets for us to use.
Please remember to bring in your fruit donations for the children to share at snack time.
