Early Collection
Can we please remind all parents/carers that the session end times are 11.45 and 3.45, please do not arrive too early to collect your child as they will miss important activities at the end of their session if they leave early. It can also be disruptive and upsetting for the other children.
Christmas
Our Christmas Fayre is fast approaching (3 weeks). We will be holding a Christmas Fayre meeting on Thursday 8th November at 2.30. This is a chance for parents to meet with staff to arrange times, to help to prepare for our Fayre and volunteer to help on the day. If you would like to help with the preparations or on the day, but cannot make the meeting please let us know. Donations and volunteer sign up sheets will be displayed in the cloakroom shortly. If you know of any company/business who would donate a prize for our raffle please contact the office.
Parent Consultations
Parent consultations are now taking place in the Nursery and will begin in the Daisy Room week commencing 12th November. There are sign-up sheets with your keyworker, please make sure you sign up if you haven’t already.
Ark Farm
We will be having a visit from Ark Farm small animal encounter, the children will have the opportunity to meet a selection of small animals. Such as chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, a pygmy hedgehog, a leopard tortoise, an owl, sugar gliders and at least one lovely dog. www.arkfarm.co.uk
Lavender Soap
Thank you to all who brought our lavender soap last week.
Photographer
Helen Alderton will be coming to take individual photographs on Wednesday. She will also be available to take photos with siblings on the day. If you would like pictures with siblings please can you arrive at 8.30 if you are a morning session, 12.40 afternoon session.
Arbury Carnival
The last carnival was a huge success once again. Unfortunately some of the current committee members have resigned this year, so in order for the Carnival to go ahead in 2019 more people willing to become committee members are needed. This is a voluntary role and a drop in recruitment meeting will take place at the Arbury Community centre on Saturday 24th November from 1-4pm, please attend if you would like to get involved.
Carrier Bags
If you have any spare carrier bags please could you bring them in for us to send our wet clothes in.
Nappies
Please can we remind you it is the parents responsibility to provide nappies and wipes. Please bring in two/three nappies each day and if you do borrow a nappy please replace it.
