Children in Need
We will celebrate in the Nursery on Wednesday 15th November. Children can wear something spotty. Can they also bring in a bear/soft toy to care for? We will also be making Pudsey Bear biscuits and collecting for Children in Need.
Christmas
We will soon start to think about Christmas and also our Christmas Fayre. We will be asking for donations and will need volunteers the week before and on the day. Please look out for the sign up sheets in the cloakroom shortly.
Arbury Carnival
Last year celebrated the 40th carnival and was a great success. Unfortunately a few committee members have resigned this year and the future of the carnival is uncertain at the moment. A drop-in morning is being held at the Arbury Community Centre on 18th November 2017 from 10am, to hopefully recruit new members so the carnival can continue for many years to come. Please see the attached flyer for details if you would like to get involved. If the morning is a success with lots of volunteers wanting to join the committee then the carnival will go ahead next year, if not then the 40th carnival will have been the last.
Photographer
Helen Alderton has visited the Nursery to take the individual photographs. We are expecting the proofs back on Friday 10th November.
Cake Sale
A huge thank you for all your wonderful donations. We have some very talented bakers among you! At our cake sale we raised £216 towards our Ark Farm visit. Our next cake sale will be at the Christmas Fayre.
Parent Consultations
Parent consultations will commence this week. There are sign up sheets with your Keyworker please make sure you have signed up.
